The Working Safely course is for anyone at any level, in any sector worldwide, who need a grounding in the essentials of safety and health. It gives everyone at work an understanding of why they must ‘work safely’.

Course pre-requisites:
There are no pre-requisites to the IOSH Working Safely course. However, our course is delivered and assessed in English so a reasonable standard of English is required to complete the course.
Course overview:
The IOSH Working Safely elearning course is designed to provide you and your team with a good understanding of why they must work safely and how they can do that. It outlines individual and organisational responsibilities so everyone in the workplace can contribute towards a safer environment.
Delivered over 4 modules, you can choose to complete your course in one day, or come back to your course as and when suits you. Our elearning platform is mobile-friendly, so you can complete your IOSH Working Safely at any time any place.
Introducing working safely
We introduce what it means to ‘work safely’ and how we all have a responsibility to maintain a safe working environment. We discuss some of the main reasons we work safely and the consequences if we don’t.
Defining hazard and risk
The course now covers hazard and risk, how we typically assess hazards and risks and what we have to do to make them acceptable.
Identifying common hazards
Throughout this module, we cover some of the common hazards people face in the workplace, and what types of categories these hazards fall under.
Improving safety performance
Finally, we begin to look at how we can improve the safety performance of the workplace.
Assessing learners
Your course is assessed by a 2-part multiple choice assessment at the end of your course.
